In keeping with the quickly changing energy environment there is a large need for experience with smart energy and the smart grid.
The Smart Energy Collective is an initiative involving about thirty companies in the Netherlands. It is aimed at cooperatively carrying out large scale experiments in the application of smart meters in households and industries.
The practical knowledge gained can then be used to renew the Dutch energy landscape. The goal is in many areas of knowledge and experience ……. through the innovation of generation, storage and distribution of electrical energy.
